The Mobile Motion project involved developing a portable motion-control interface for mobile device platforms. Through augmenting existing mobile device technologies, the project looks to provide user-relative position information, allowing the system to track the movement of the device. This sensor system can then be utilised along with the device’s onboard sensors to provide a comprehensive set of gesture data for use in a variety of applications.
